Dear Reddit. Are there Modern Urban Communities that share everything and therefore work less and live more?

I woke up in the middle of the night, and im not sure why, but suddenly thought, what if we all saw our planet like a single human cell! Honestly, thats what was in my head. I know many enlightened people do believe in the interconnectedness of us all, like the ancients did.

Then I thought what if an apartment block of 100 tenants represented 1 tiny "mitochondria" of this single cell world?

What if all 100 tenants shared everything. Cars, Food, Clothes, Incomes, Knowledge, Time, etc. "Universal Basic Income" type idea.

Could this be so efficient use of resources that they only work 20 hours a week but live a $100k lifestyle?

Maybe other "Unit blocks" can share/swap accomodation, hence free travel accom.

The other 20 hours per week could be spent Socializing, Exercising, Learning and Teaching.

ElonMusk.TV should fund a pilot "Single Cell Unit Blocks" somewhere in the world. After a pilot period and finetuning, maybe more cities could adopt it. #modernvillage #universalamazinglife #universalbasiconcome
